±ΖΑ¨±ΖΑ¨ Adds Eaton’s Katrina Redmond to Board of Trustees

The ±ΖΑ¨±ΖΑ¨β€™s Board of Trustees elected Katrina Redmond to a three-year term at its Tuesday, June 8, 2021, meeting. Redmond is senior vice president and chief information officer for Eaton, a global power management company.

β€œIt is a real pleasure to welcome Katrina Redmond as a ±ΖΑ¨±ΖΑ¨ Trustee,” said ±ΖΑ¨±ΖΑ¨ Board Chair Susan A. Rothmann, PhD. β€œAlthough she has only been in Cleveland a short time, it is already clear she will have a lasting impact on our community. I’m grateful for her commitment to ±ΖΑ¨±ΖΑ¨ as it forges its second century of empowering the world’s most talented classical music students to fulfill their dreams and potential.”

Redmond, who joined Eaton in 2021, is responsible for the enterprise information technology strategy and execution. Prior to Eaton, she worked for Hubbell, where she served as vice president and CIO. Throughout her career, she has guided digital transformations and global e-commerce solutions, and delivered global enterprise system implementations. Redmond has held IT leadership roles at ABB, GE Grid Solutions, GE Industrial Solutions and GE Plastics.

Redmond received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology from the University of Georgia. She later received a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from the Southern Polytechnic State University. She has served on the GE Women in Technology Board and received a CIO 100 Award in 2013.
